Welcome message from Miss Hayes, Reception Teacher:

Welcome to R Believe! It has been lovely getting to know all of the children during their first couple of weeks at school. They have all settled in so well and I am looking forward to being their class teacher throughout their first year at school. If you have anything you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to speak to me at the gate or by phoning the school office.

R Believe Class Organisation

PE Day for R Believe will be on a Tuesday morning. 

Rhyme of the Week - Each week we will send home a rhyme for you to learn and sing with your child. A copy of this will appear on the Reception page of the website.

Reading -  It is best to start sharing books with your child every day, little and often starting now if you don't already. Once the children are settled and we have got to know them, we will start to send home reading books for you to practice their reading skills. They will have a home/school record book that goes with this that you must complete. More information on this to follow.

Lunch - 11:30am until 12:15pm

Please ensure all packed lunch bags and containers are fully labelled on the outside. ABSOLUTELY NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE (we have a child in our school with a severe nut allergy).

Snack - The snack table is open to children all day. It has healthy breakfast cereals, milk, breadsticks and crackers. The cost of this is 50p per week, payable to the class teacher. Please do not hand in loose chnage, it must be in an envelope with your child's name on.

Uniform - Please ensure that all items of your child's uniform is labelled with their name and class.
